While I was in LA the last time a friend from Germany visited and he happens to be the biggest fan of Ice Cream. So everyday we went to a different Ice Cream spot.
First was Creamistry:
It was a great spot, the ice cream was delicious and made right in front of you with liquid nitrogen which was super cool. It was also one that's dairy free friendly, they offer cashew and coconut bases. Along with being dairy free safe their dairy options are good ones. They offer organic non GMO fed dairy sources.
All together the ice cream tasted delcious it was light, not too sweet and the toppings that were offered were fun and random adding a level of excitment in the process.
The next spot we went was Afters:
This place is cool, it is home of the milky bun, and oh boy was it delicious. It is also a clothing store which is funny, featuring Rick and Morty. All of their flavours are fun and not expected while I was there (since I'm a classic chocolate kinda girl) I had their Malted Choco which had little maltezerballs omg it was delicious.
They have different flavors like milk and cereal and jasmine milk tea. Definietly worth the visit, their Churro flavour in the milky bun was amaze.
Then we branched out and started doing Yogurtland!
Now this was my favorite spot. Not only do the flavours change fairly frequetly between things like boisenberry pie and toasted coconut. They also have the most variety when it come to toppings. My favorite things to incorporate were the plain tart yogurt flavor, the toasted coconut, the chocolate twilight, taro flavour; toppings: boba balls, mochi, oreo crumbs, strawberries, blueberries, reeses cups, and of coures hot fudge :) hehe
Shake Shack also has a delicious Malted Vanilla shake and it is incredible!
Some other places that I have heard amazing things about are Salt and Straw, Saffron & Rose, Sweet Rose Creamery, McConnell's Fine Ice Creams, Wanderlust Creamery, Van Leeuwen, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, and Gelateria Uli.
Just a reminder to nourish your soul as well as your body
